This term for writing we have been learning how to write complex sentences. Everyday we write a sentence with a specific word. Today our words were swayed, shimmed and jive, I chose swayed.
Here is my sentence:
I watched as the palm trees swayed gently in the breeze and the seagulls ducked and dived in and out of the ocean as the old lonely fisherman sat on the wharf humming a sea shanty.
What could I add to make it better?
